About Course
Katalon Runtime Engine (KRE) is the test execution add-on of Katalon Studio, which allows you to execute Katalon automated tests via the command-line interface (CLI), in virtual machines and CI/CD pipelines.
This course will walk you through the most common use cases of Katalon Runtime Engine.
In three chapters, you will learn about:
- How Katalon Runtime Engine fits in the Katalon Platform and why you need it
- How to download and install KRE
- Demonstrations of some common use cases, including running tests from command lines, and scheduling tests using an agent through the Katalon Platform
By the end of this course, you will understand when you need Katalon Runtime Engine, how to set up, and run Katalon tests via CLI.
