Katalon True Platform: Cloud testing for private applications with Katalon Tunnel
About Course
Cloud testing gives teams access to scalable browser environments without depending on local machines. However, cloud-hosted tests cannot access private applications, internal services, or staging environments that are unavailable on the public internet.
This course shows how Katalon Tunnel creates a secure connection between Katalon’s cloud environments and private applications. You will learn how to configure a tunnel and use it to run automated and AI-assisted manual tests from Katalon True Platform and Katalon Studio, without exposing the application to the public internet.
In three chapters, you will learn:
- How Katalon Tunnel connects cloud tests to a private network
- How to configure, start, verify, and stop a Katalon tunnel
- How to run automated and AI-assisted manual tests through a tunnel in Katalon True Platform
- How to run cloud tests through a tunnel from Katalon Studio
By the end of this course, you will be able to use Katalon Tunnel to run cloud tests against private applications from both Katalon True Platform and Katalon Studio.
