This course demonstrates how to use Katalon Studio AI agent mode with external Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, so StudioAssist can further expand your team’s test automation capabilities.
In 3 chapters, you will learn:
- The benefits of StudioAssist with external MCP servers
- How to configure Chrome DevTools, Selenium, and Atlassian MCP servers in Katalon Studio
- How to fetch requirements from Jira and turn them into structured automation work
- How to scan the application, capture locators, and generate test objects and test cases faster
- How to maintain test assets when the UI changes, reducing flaky tests and repetitive locator fixing
