First and foremost, the API Automation courses, both basic and advanced, have been invaluable. These courses covered a multitude of essential topics, equipping me with the knowledge and skills to effectively automate APIs. Similarly, the Web Automation courses, both basic and advanced, have been crucial. They delved into various aspects of web automation, ensuring that I had a comprehensive understanding and proficiency in this area. For Desktop Automation, the basic and advanced courses provided an in-depth exploration of the subject. This knowledge has proven essential in automating desktop applications. Mobile App Automation, offered through basic and advanced courses, has been another highlight. These courses equipped me with the expertise to automate mobile applications effectively. Lastly, the integration resources with tools like JIRA, GIT LAB, and QTest have been incredibly valuable. They've allowed me to integrate automation seamlessly with other aspects of our workflow, streamlining the entire process.

One of the most significant assets is proficiency with the Katalon tool itself, which has empowered me to excel in various aspects of automation. Moreover, I've honed my abilities in integrating automation into our workflow, seamlessly connecting it with essential tools like JIRA, GIT LAB, and QTest. This integration proficiency has streamlined our processes and enhanced overall efficiency. Katalon Academy has been instrumental in educating me on different types of application automation, covering a wide array of platforms, including APIs, web applications, desktop applications, and mobile applications. This comprehensive knowledge has been crucial in addressing our project's varied automation requirements.

THE TRANSFORMATION

“How did I apply what I learned in my job?”

I earned greater responsibilities and opportunities by showcasing my proficiency in automation. Automation is intrinsically enjoyable because it's incredibly satisfying. There's a unique thrill in witnessing a comprehensive 40-step continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline execute seamlessly. This process validates security measures, API functionality, conducts code analysis and linting, ensures the correct placement of user interface (UI) elements, and runs regression tests. The end result is a dashboard with a green "successful" status that signifies a job well done. In terms of automation, curating a centralized repository of APIs and playbooks is pivotal for success. It goes beyond just having APIs in your applications; it involves making them accessible to all, eliminating the need for colleagues to inquire about interfacing with your service. This open accessibility is the key to streamlining and automating service delivery.
