This is a space where QA professionals share real-world use cases in testing, practical stories, experiments, lessons, and frameworks others can learn from. Think of it as a knowledge hub built by the community, for the community.
Who can contribute?
Anyone with experience in software testing or automation, whether you're a beginner or expert, and whether or not you're using Katalon. Just log in to share your experience.
What kinds of use cases are welcome?
All QA-related use cases are welcome, from web, mobile, API automation to test strategy, CI/CD integration, flaky test handling, and more. It can be a success story, a workaround, or even a learning from failure. As long as it solves a specific problem, it’s good.
Is this only for Katalon users?
No. While many users here use Katalon, we also welcome use cases involving other frameworks as long as they’re related to software testing, automation, and QA.
How do I share my use case?
Please find and click the “Share your knowledge” button. Then, fill in your title, description, and optionally share your video tutorials or Git project. Hit Publish, and your use case is live. It’s just that simple.
Can I draft a post and publish later?
Yes! If you’re not ready to publish right away, you can save your work as a draft and return to publish it anytime. You can find your saved drafts on your Katalon Academy user profile.
What if I’m just here to explore?
Great! Take your time to explore and find the content that fits your needs. Browse through the posts to discover how other testers are solving problems and maybe get inspired to try something new yourself.
Can I ask questions or comment on a post?
Absolutely. Every use case is open for discussion. Share your thoughts, ask follow-ups, thank the author, or find and connect with them on LinkedIn. That’s what keeps the community going.
Can I update or delete my post?
Yes. You can manage your posts from your profile page — edit, update, or remove them at any time.
Why should I post here?
Sharing your use case helps others grow and it helps you grow, too. It’s a great way to build your credibility in the QA space, improve how you present your ideas, and document what you've learned. Plus, you'll get feedback and fresh perspectives from the community.
Is this page moderated?
Yes. We review and lightly moderate posts to ensure content is relevant, respectful, and useful to the QA community. We might take action to delete spam and harmful content.
Will my post be featured or shared more widely?
Possibly! Outstanding posts may be shared by others and highlighted across Katalon channels, including newsletters, Academy, and community forums (with credit to you, of course).
